Following multiple pitch presentations at the home of golf, St Andrews, the R&A charged Elvis with working towards their biggest occasion in decades. It would see the launch of a complete brand overhaul and a new user-centric responsive platform, which would bring golfs oldest tournament to the world's fingertips. 

What we created was an immersive digital experience that adapted throughout the golfing calendar to keep followers worldwide up to date on live qualifications, the latest players to qualify, news and updates in the build-up to the tournament. 

When the tournament week arrived the site blossomed once more and we introduced a host of features for users at the tournament or plugging in from any location globally. From course maps to tee times, live player locators, live radio and video feeds, user polls, shots of the day, competitions, stats and of course the iconic Open leaderboard equipt with user favouriting features. 

The rich immersive content and personalised viewing options available, alongside the real-time data and a seamless experience across all devices all helped TheOpen.com pick up a silver Webby.
